Do you have days like this? #badmumsclub

A Gin Day

It’s a day that started badly
The kind of day that you can’t win.
It’s a day that has you asking
‘Can my cornflakes come with gin?’

You see I love my dear sweet boy,
But can’t abide his evil twin.
Till he returns from where he’s hiding,
I’ll be day-dreaming of gin.

I’m sure the treatment I’m being given,
Is deserved of mortal sin.
Thus the time that I am having,
Makes me ponder pre-noon gin.

And yet it seems as if it’s all my fault,
‘You’d like to put ME in the bin?’
Well, ha that sounds, not half so bad
Just chuck me in some gin.

Alas I know I need to ride it out,
And take it on the chin,
I’m not alone, won’t be without
My loyal, good friend gin.

But what’s this; A yes, co-operation?
A loving, charming grin?
He’s back, all’s well, let’s not despair,
Mind you let’s keep the gin :)

Yep, I think I am currently having a night and day just like that! Great song! Can we have a cherry, happy gin song too? We can call it #BritMumsSoundtrack

hehehe, love this! Whenever they threaten to send me into the hall in retaliation to my threats I always think I’d quite like 31 minutes in the hall with my bottle of Hendricks! x

I hate gin. But it sometimes feel the same about vodka, Jaegermeister, rum or fizz. ;) especially after the week I have had x
